It’s almost here…. 12.12.12.  I could list a dozen reasons why this is so exciting, or I could just get right to the point.  Many people, all around the world are thinking of doing something special in their classrooms to mark the significance of the day.  What if you host 12 Days of Creativity?  With the help of some collaborators on  a Google Doc shared through Twitter, we’ve come up with a dozen stand-alone creative activities.   These are all meant to be quick activities and many have the option to integrate technology.  Leave it up to your students… afterall, being creative is about giving them the freedom to choose!

Oh, and don’t forget, when 12.12.12 rolls around this week, take a class photo with the students holding up large piece of paper cut into the shape of 12′s.  Print that photo and give it to your kids for a holiday gift.  After all, 12.12.12 won’t come around again in our lifetime and you shared that day together.
