Have you ever tried to explain Twitter to people that don’t tweet? It’s hard. I want to create a video about Twitter by showing the real faces and how it’s inspired you in the field of education, in your classroom, or in your life. I would love for you to Tweet or DM me a snapshot, an Instagram, a Twitpic, or even a photo to my email of you holding up a simple sign that tells one way you’ve been inspired by the people in your PLN or simply what you love about Twitter.
Not a professional photo. Just a real photo. Of you. Sharing the power of Twitter.
Just a simple statement, with a big message. The connections and learning on Twitter are very real. I already have a song selected for the video, I simply need photos of others who enjoy, learn from, and have grown through their PLN. Will you please help? This is your chance to thank someone else in your PLN for inspiring you and to show the world how powerful Twitter is for educators.
Thank you!
DEADLINE: Sunday, June 17, at midnight, central time!

Krissy
My name is Chris and I am Headmaster of a Prep school in London, England. I just wanted to comment and say THAT I ABSOLUTELY LOVE YOUR BLOG. You say everything that I believe. Tell young people that they are wonderful and they will be wonderful. See every child as someone born to change the world and treat them accordingly. I have a job for you now. Come to the Olympic City!

Krissy,
I am a real believer in leveraging social media tools as an intergral part of the learning experience. I will send along a picture as requested. I thought you might be interested in this recent blog post I wrote.

Love the NASA shirt, Krissy! Is there a limit to how many photos we can submit? So many people have helped me in ways I never could have imagined – and you can relate to the awesome space opportunities we’ve had, which has also helped me as an educator! I’ve got a couple of ideas brewing.

Thanks, Krissy! What a fun idea. I’m glad Janelle told me about this before the deadline. I had missed it earlier this week. My photo mentions & thanks my very first follower–the colleague who told me about Twitter for teachers.

What a lovely idea! I’ve done a similar thing to show the power of twitter for teachers here: http://ilovemathsgames.wordpress.com/2012/06/16/twitter-as-cpd-2/
Hope it all goes well
