This post is a bit different from my typical posts, but far more important. I have a request of you. This week, as you head into your classroom, would you please consider doing something special? Pheonix is a student in our school and she’s fighting cancer. I’ve gotten her family’s permission to share their request here. I think it would be awesome if her wall was so full of positive and encouraging cards that she has to start another wall of cards, and then that wall gets filled to. Please take a moment to send a card. Let’s show her some love and support from all around the world.

Wow. That must be hard for her. I hope she gets tons of support! Hope she gets better soon, and that she is okay.
